Entry Level Field Technician
Duties:
Perform environmental sampling related to asbestos removal projects. Will provide necessary training leading to NYS Certification. FULL/PART-TIME/SUMMER EMPLOYEMENT.
Requirements:
Science background preferred, but not necessary. Reliable transportation a must (mileage allowance), occasional overnight travel. Excellent communication skills and dependability a must.
Description:
1. Full or part-time employment is available. The majority of all field work occurs between 7:00AM and 5:00PM Monday through Friday. However due to the nature of the industry, night work and weekend work will be required as needed.
2. You will be required to attend a two day asbestos air sampling technician training class. Envirologic of New York, Inc. will cover all training costs, OSHA physical fees and NYS Certification costs.
3. Starting pay rate ranges depending on experience.
4. Travel time and mileage are paid for all field activities. All tolls are reimbursed.
