Training services are provided to assist clients in complying with a broad range of safety and health regulations established by the New York State Department of Labor (NYSDOL) and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). Envirologic of New York, Inc. is an approved New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) asbestos certification training provider. Certification courses are provided for those individuals who work directly with asbestos in various disciplines (i.e. Asbestos Handlers, Contractors/Supervisors, etc.). Training programs for compliance with various OSHA standards include Hazardous Waste Operations (40-Hour and 8-Hour Refresher), Permit Required Confined Space Entry, Hazard Communication/Employee Right-to-Know, Excavation and Trenching Safety, Hazardous Energy Control (Lock-out/Tag-out), Asbestos Awareness, etc.
Training classes are held at our training facility in Syracuse, New York. Envirologic of New York, Inc. can also provide on-site training at our client’s facilities.
We work with our clients to assist in determining the specific regulatory training and health and safety requirements associated with each client’s specific type of business. We can also provide written health and safety policies and procedures customized to each client’s operation.
